Elder Giles
and I
Hello
Everyone!
Another week
has came and gone.
Elder Giles
had a good week. We did a lot of try bys to former investigators. We have been
trying to get creative with our finding as well since It can be hard here
sometimes.
We also have
been working really hard with Mark to help him stop smoking! He has cut back
and this week had a couple of days when he didn't smoke. He told us that he
asked Heavenly Father to help him!
We had our
district meeting this week. We went up to Dalkeith on tuesday to have district
meeting with Elder Bradshaw and Elder Moore. We discussed our goals for this
transfer! This week we are going on exchanges with them!
There was
some very interesting weather this week in the Scottish Borders. Rain ,sleet
and snow at the same time. Lets just say it wasn't fun and I had to have a lot
of Hot chocolate because it was so cold.
Anyways, Saturday we went to President Kelly’s and he made us a Scotch Pie dinner…. Yum.
Sunday… We
had a great Sacrament meeting. President Freed, the Edinburgh Stake president,
came and spoke. He talked about our own personal conversions.
Sunday
evening we went to Una Moffat’s house, a less active in the branch. Una and her
partner Marc made a really good chicken dinner for us. Afterwards Marc showed
us his guitars. His electric guitar was really cool to play.
This week
have interviews with President Donaldson. I’m looking forward to it!
Elder Giles
and I get along really well together. We both love photography!
