Hello
Everyone!
Well hoped
you enjoyed that story.
This past
week was great. The weather was wonderful.
This Past Monday, Sister Donaldson took us to Costco. There we bought several things. We
bought a 4.5 kg bag of pancake mix, a liter of maple syrup, and a big box of
granola bars.
We had some
great lessons with Mark and Kate (sorry I keep meaning to get a photo of them
but I forgot). We started reteaching Mark the discussions and preparing kate to
go to the temple.
Mark wasn't
able to go to church because he starting passing out because of high blood
pressure. He said to the paramedics “I don’t want to go to the Hospital, I want
to go to church in the morning”. The Lord knows his heart. I’m grateful to have
met Mark. He is a great friend.
This week
I’ve been studying about the parable of the talents. What I learned is that we
are given much and God expects us to do our best. We shouldn't compare
ourselves to other. What matters is how God sees you. I’m grateful that
Heavenly Father has given me certain gifts and also disabilities. I know that
he is Happy when I do my best.
This week a
member is making haggis neeps and tatties, a traditional scottish meal. Elder
Watson and I haven't had haggis before so it will be a fun time!
I hope you
all have a wonderful week
Elder Joseph
Udy
